Our Organization

We are a Christian non-profit foundation, and are a legally established entity in both the Ecuador and the United States.  In the U.S., we have been granted 501(c)(3) status.

Our Board of Directors consists of mature, professional adults who have spent their careers in the fields of education, theology, medicine and psychology.

The Chairman of the Board, Mr. Elias Castillo, has completed coursework for his PhD. in education, and has had over twenty-five years experience in the field.

Our Executive Committee Chair, Dr. Miguel Artola, has recently retired as the National Director of the Health Program for the Peace Corps, in Ecuador.  He also has over twenty-five years experience working not only in the medical field, but also in the area of social programs.

Our in-house pastor, Pastor Lalo, not only gives his time to us, but also has his own congregation and teaches at a local university.

All of our staff are currently volunteers, so 100% of all donations go directly to help the children.

If you'd like to volunteer too, please contact us and we will show you how to experience the most rewarding work you've ever done!

Our Vision

Our goals are to improve the economic opportunities for these children by providing them with basic security, nutrition, clothing, shelter and education, thus giving them the opportunity to move out of poverty.

The Children

There are approximately 325,000 children, between the ages of birth and fourteen years, who live on the streets of  Quito and risk their lives daily to find food, shelter, and clothing.  These children have no families, and no support system. They are hungry, mal-nourished, sick, and often suffer emotionally from familial sexual and physical abuse.  The girls, in particular, are at risk of being kidnapped and sold into a life of slavery and prostitution.

In interview after interview with these children, what they ask for is education; some knowledge or skill to allow them to move out of their poverty and into mainstream society; to become productive citizens of their country.

As these children have babies of their own, their need to leave the street and take care of their own children becomes more and more urgent to them.

Our Programs

HOUSE OF DREAMS is our ultimate program where we will provide a comfortable, supportive home for ten girls of the street.  They will be given a secure, loving environment, clothing, a Christian education and vocational training or the opportunity to go to college when they complete their high school education.
